Infiniti has announced that their first EV sports car will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2013.  An image was released but it's difficult to see the overall design.  And all specs, pricing and design features have been kept secret.   We at Infiniti of Manhattan can't wait to get our hands on more information and will keep you updated as soon as we do.

Andy Palmer, Executive Vice President, Infiniti, says of the new vehicle, "At the Geneva show next year, we will present our vision for a totally new kind of inspired premium performance car."¹ With a clean-diesel and hybrid model already in the lineup, and an EV sedan on its way shortly, the next feasible step, of course, is a performance-tuned eco-friendly roadster. The purpose is, as Palmer says, "to push the boundaries where performance and environment intersect."²

Infiniti promises we'll know all of the pertinent details about the new EV sports car as soon as it's unveiled at Geneva. Until then, they plan to continue to share bits of information here and there as engineers continue to ready the vehicle for its debut.
