Who has the best hybrid power in Germany - a foreign car. Japan's Infiniti M Hybrid took on all German competition at a recent event. The Japanese company claims "to have the fastest hybrid sedan on the market and aims to prove it," according to Auto Week.1
There's no need to head overseas to get your own M-Series. Infiniti of Manhattan in New York, NY has a full line up available.
M hybrid weighs only 4129 pounds, with a power-to-weight ratio of 11.46 pounds/horsepower. This shot the car on a 0 to 60 sprint at about 5.7 seconds.
Coming in with a 3.5-liter V6 engine, 2012 M hybrid is capable of producing 360-horsepower, along with a massive 258 lb-ft of torque. But that's not all, oh no. The electric motor adds 199 lb-ft of torque. Still, fuel economy remains impressive at 32 mpg highway. Not to mention a great starting price of $54,595 for M35h.
